Yes. It IS possible. You have to use specific version of packages found at: https://archive.synology.com/download/Package/

Hi Tyler, there was a newer version of Virtual Machine Manager available v2.5.5-11487, five days before you posted your article update in 2021, and Replication Service v1.1.20-0252 in April 2021. Did you purposely choose to use a slightly older versions to get things working? I’m currently on the newest and last firmware v7.1.1.42962 Update 6 for the DS415+.
Which brand and model of RAM sticks did you use?
